I’m a current Forrest County, Mississippi public defender. I’ve been a lawyer since 25 September 2001. I have a BA from Georgetown University with a double major in classical languages and English. I have a JD from the University of Mississippi School of Law. I clerked at the Mississippi Court of Appeals for 13 months. I was in private practice in Mississippi from January 3, 2003 until October 3, 2016. I was a part-time municipal prosecutor for the City of Hattiesburg from 22 February 2012 until October 3, 2016. I’ve run for chancery judge twice, and justice court judge once. I’ve been married, and divorced, and now I’m married again. I don’t have any children. I own Hub City Beers in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I studied piano for ten years, and I can play (poorly) the piano, saxophone, guitar, and I’m teaching myself the ukulele. I am the choir director of Holy Cross Orthodox Mission Church in Hattiesburg.

That’s who I think I am.
